Verifying Your caloto Account
Account verification is how we confirm that you are who you say you are, and it's what keeps your balance protected if you ever need to recover access. We ask for a government-issued photo ID — a driver's license or passport works — plus a document that confirms your address, like a recent utility bill or bank statement. Upload both through the
secure document portal inside your account settings; we review submissions and notify you by email once the check clears. Verification also unlocks the full withdrawal limit on your account, so completing it early means you won't hit a hold the first time you cash out. All documents are handled under encrypted storage, not kept in plain text.
- Government-issued photo ID — A valid US driver's license, state ID, or passport — clear photo of both sides where applicable.
- Proof of address — A recent utility bill, bank statement, or official mail showing your name and current address, dated within 90 days.
- Upload via account settings — Log in, go to Account Settings, tap Verify Identity, and upload each document through the encrypted portal.
- Confirmation email — We review your submission and send a confirmation email when verification passes — usually before your next login.
