A play break — sometimes called a voluntary account pause — lets you lock yourself out of the lobby for a set period. Inside your account, go to Settings, then Account Controls, and choose a duration: short cooling-off periods of a few days, longer pauses of 30 or 90 days, or a permanent account closure. During any active pause, your wallet balance

stays intact and no deposits can process through PayPal, Venmo, or Play+. When the period ends, reactivation requires a short identity confirmation step before the lobby reopens. If you choose permanent closure, that step cannot be reversed by a simple login — a written request through our support channel is required. Availability depends on your state and which features local law permits.

When a pause activates, your PayPal, Venmo, and Play+ connections are suspended. No deposits or withdrawals process until the pause expires or you formally request closure.

The block applies equally in the mobile browser and the app. Clearing your cache or switching devices does not reset a pause — the restriction is tied to your account, not your device.

Reactivation Friction by Design

Reopening your account after a 30-day or 90-day pause requires identity confirmation. That step is intentional — it gives you a clear moment to decide before re-entering the lobby.

Permanent Closure Is Final

A permanent account closure cannot be undone through the app. You must contact support in writing, and our team reviews every request before any reactivation is even considered.
